In March 2016 the Zengeza Busters Football Academy journey began and time flies, this year we celebrate 5 years of existence.
A dream which started from humble beginnings is growing, changing lives in the ghetto and opening opportunities for the boy and girl child. The academy started using stones as cones but now we are glad to have some sets of latest equipment for our sessions. We started by using the Zengeza 2 community ground but since a lot of people use that pitch we managed to make a relationship with Anglican church Zengeza 2 who provided us a with the church soccer pitch which is now our home for sessions and matches. To date up to 20 players have received scholarships opportunities through various partnerships with other institutions. The club is one of the few academies in Zimbabwe with proper girls’ soccer academy setups. Over 200 players have trained with us in the past years.
