Zengeza Busters donate to Chitungwiza Central Hospital

On the 1st of April 2018, Chitungwiza based Zengeza Busters Soccer Academy practised good social responsibility as it donated and distributed food hampers to patients at the Children’s Paediatric Ward of Chitungwiza Central Hospital (CCH).

Children in the academy aged from 8 years to 18 years distributed the hampers to 36 children who were in the company of their mothers.

The technical team and players from the soccer academy which is based in Zengeza 2, posed for pictures as they shared special moments with some of the patients.

Zengeza Busters Soccer Academy Technical Director, Knowledge Chingwecha said that he is happy that the academy is practising good social responsibility by donating food to sick patients.

“As an academy based in Chitungwiza, we saw it necessary to bring some cheer to children and their mothers who were in hospital during the Easter holidays.

“The idea was also meant to educate our football players to be responsible citizens for their communities and Zimbabwe,” said Chingwecha.

CCH Public Relations Officer, Audrey Tasaranarwo expressed thanks to the football academy’s donations.

“It was a good gesture and we appreciated what the boys did and they are welcome to do other donations in the future.

“CCH also needs assistance in the form of NAN 1 and pampers,” said Tasaranarwo.

Busters Soccer Academy has children from 8 years to 18 years and its home ground is Anglican Church at Zengeza 2.
